Infant Teacher - Ages 6 weeks to 18 months
Mrs. Kimberly Hindsman
I was born in Georgia along with 2 sisters and 1 brother. I am the mother of 6 children: 3 boys and 3 girls. I enjoy reading, going to the movies, and spending time with my family. I ama passionate childcare provider with over 30 years of experience caring for young children. I believe in learning through play by creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to learn.
Toddler Teacher - Ages 18 months to 3 years

I am excited to be part of the 2-year-old classroom and to help create a fun and nurturing environment where little ones can learn and grow. I love watching children explore their world, discover new things, and develop their personalities through play and hands-on activities. With 2 years of experience working with children, I am passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space where every child feels comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves.
Toddler Teacher - Ages 3 to 4 years
Mrs. Felicia Ballard
I am proud to be a part of our school family since 2015! I am currently furthering my passion for teaching by pursuing my Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education. My teaching philosophy is rooted in creative, play-based learning, as I believe children learn the best when they are having fun and exploring their imagination.

Mrs. Carolyn Piggee
I'm Carolyn Piggee, a Pre-K teacher with 20 years of experience and a degree in social work. I specialize in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive socially and academically. I love to read and make storytime aninteractivee, magical experience for my students every day. I can't wait to start our reading adventure together.

Mrs. Shay
My name is Ms. Shay. I've been teaching Pre-K for 7 years. Originally, I'm from Long Island, New York. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, with a Montessori concentration. I love teaching because I enjoy helping students set a foundation they can learn from forever. Teaching social-emotional skills and academics is important to me. I call myself a guided teacher because I will follow your child's interests and build from there with new learning experiences. In the words of Stitch, "Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.

Mrs. Karen Kirksey
Has over 30 years of experience in early education and leadership. She holds a degree in early childhood education and is passionate about fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for children and families. Mrs. Karen is committed to supporting her teaching team, maintaining strong family partnerships, and ensuring the center meets the highest standards of care and education. Her goal is to create a warm environment where every child can thrive.

I am excited to be a part of the after-school program as a dedicated childcare teacher. I have a deep passion for watching little ones learn, grow, and explore through play and fun activities. I have been working with children across different age groups, focusing on creating a fun, nurturing, and safe space where children feel free to be themselves. I believe these early years are so important in building confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
