The hours of operation are 6:30 PM to 6:00 PM

If my kid is getting a ride to school in the morning, what time should I have them at BBLA?

Kids getting a ride to school should arrive no later than 6:50 AM. If they are getting picked up from school, be sure to notify the school before our arrival. There is an upcharge for drop-off and pick-up for school kids.

What is the latest time I can drop off my child?

For Pre-K, children must be dropped off by 8:00 AM. For Daycare, children must arrive by 9:00 AM. Kids with a doctor's note can arrive before 10:00 AM.

Is there a check-in policy?

All parents must sign their children in upon arrival and sign them out when leaving. Children will not be released to a minor and will only be released to an authorized parent or guardian.

Are the children required to be immunized?

Immunization records must be on file or before the first day of the school year. If a child has been enrolled and the center has not received the required health documents, the child cannot return to the center until all documents are updated and returned.

When is tuition billed, and can I pay ahead?

Tuition is billed ona weekly schedule and is due on Fridays for the upcoming week. If the child attends at least one day in the current week, a full week's tuition will be charged. Tuition does not roll over to the next week if days are missed in the current week. Payments can be made (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) in the form of cash, check, money orders, debit, or credit card. Return check payments will receive a $50 return check fee, and no checks will be accepted (certified funds only) for the duration of the school year or at the owner's discretion.

Will we have to pay if we take our kid on vacation?​

BBLA gives two weeks of vacation without pay per calendar year. A vacation request form is required to be filled out prior to leaving to account for proper staffing for the center. After two weeks of vacation are used, half of the tuition is required to be paid before leaving on the vacation. If the fee is not paid, a $25.00 late fee per week will be applied to the account, and it is required to be paid before returning to BBLA.

Are there any late fees for missing a payment?

Tuition is due every Thursday, and you have until the end of the day on Friday to pay without accruing additional fees. A late fee of $35 will be applied, and $10 will be added each day. Excusals for late fees are at the director's discretion.

What happens if I can't pick my kid up by 6:00 PM?

If you don't arrive by 6:00 PM to retrieve your child, at 6:05 PM you will be charged $10, and for the following 5 minutes you will be charged $5.00 per minute, and after the first 10 minutes, you'll be charged $1.50 per minute. If no one has notified BBLA by 6:10 PM, a $20 fee will be added. All fees must be paid before the child returns.

What if my kid gets sick?

Any child with a fever of 100.4 or higher and 3 or more diarrhea bowel movements, a parent and or legal guardian must pick their child up immediately from the center. Before returning to the center, the child must be fever-free for 24 hours. Depending on the severity of the child's illness, a doctor's note will be required before the child is permitted to return to the center.
